This Award recognises a Retirement Village or Retirement Community Manager who creates a successful, happy and harmonious village environment through their exceptional leadership and personal commitment to residents.
This Award recognises a salesperson who achieves outstanding results in leading and driving sales of retirement living units/apartments (independent and/or ‘care’ or ‘serviced’ apartments’) at one or more retirement villages.
This award recognises outstanding young professionals (35 years or under) in the retirement living industry who demonstrate excellence through their leadership, technical skills and capacity to innovate.
NEW for 2024, there are now two categories available for nomination.
Development awards
This award is for village or community redevelopments that have been completed in the previous five years, have been operating for at least one year as at 30 June 2023 and have not previously won the Award.
Two categories: Large operator, Small operator & Not-for-profit
This Award is for new developments that have been completed in the previous five years, have been operating for at least one year as at 30 June 2023 and have not previous won the award.
Four categories: Large operator, Small Operator & Not-for-profit, Luxury and Land Lease
This Award recognises an outstanding refurbishment in retirement living that have been completed in the previous five years, have been operating for at least one year as at 30 June 2023 and have not previously won the Award.
Two categories: Refurbishments above $1M and Refurbishments below $1M
Project & SPecial Awards
This Award is for village operators and/or companies that have effectively marketed their products and services to prospective residents, leading to an increase in inquiries and/or sales.
Two categories: Large operator, Small operator & Not-for-profit
This Award is for a Sustainability project or initiative that is either led by the residents or operator in a retirement village or community.
This Award recognises the Best Retirement Village or Community as voted by the general public.
Online voting will open two months prior to the National Awards Gala Dinner to be held on Thursday 27 June 2023, where the winner will be announced.
