Do you have a person or project that deserves to be celebrated? Now is your opportunity to recognise them by nominating for the 2024 National Retirement Living Awards.
We are now inviting Expressions of Interest for this year’s Awards program.
An expression of interest is your opportunity to inform us about your potential nomination, so we can determine its eligibility for nomination.
To express interest, please complete the short Expression of Interest form below. Only basic information about the entry is required at this point.
Important to note:
- Both the nominator and nominee must be a member of the Property Council of Australia.
- The Expressions of Interest is not your official nomination.
- An Expressions of Interest is not required to nominate. You can still nominate if you do not submit an Expression of Interest, but will need to wait until Nominations open on Monday 25 September 2023.
- You can only enter one category per form submission. To enter multiple categories or enter multiple people, please submit another form.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
- All entries must be received and paid by 11:59 pm (AEST) on Sunday 29 October 2023
- The award is open to members of the Property Council of Australia only
- We welcome both self-nomination and third-party nominations
- Before you submit your nomination, ensure you have permission from the owner, your client or your contractor to do so
- All entries must be submitted via the online nomination form
- Entries must stick to the word limit on the online nomination form. Judges will not consider formatting or presentation of entries
- Nominees must include 4-6 images to support their submission. Other material relevant to support the application may also be uploaded as an Appendix in .pdf format only
- All nominees should be prepared to attend an interview with a judge, should it be deemed necessary
- All nominations and contents will remain the property of the Property Council of Australia
- Please note entries are exclusive to the Property Council of Australia National Retirement Living Awards and no details private or professional will be distributed to outside contacts
- The judge’s decision is final and no communication will be entered into concerning the final decision
- The Property Council of Australia reserves the right to publish the results and winner details
- Eligible entrants have not previously won the Award entering in to
Village Manager of the Year:
- Nominees should be directly managing a village (or more than one village), that is having direct day to day full accountability and responsibility for the village(s). Regional Managers should not apply for this award
- The Property Council of Australia will acknowledge regional winners in NSW/ACT, SA/NT, QLD, VIC/TAS and WA. Regional finalists should be available to attend the respective regional event. From these regional winners, the national finalist of the award will be confirmed
- The regional winners (national finalist) should be available to attend the National Retirement Living Summit or register for the National Retirement Living Awards Gala Dinner to be held in Gold Coast on Thursday 27 June 2024
Salesperson of the Year:
- The Property Council of Australia will acknowledge regional winners in NSW/ACT, SA/NT, QLD, VIC/TAS and WA. Regional finalists should be available to attend the respective regional event. From these regional winners, the national finalist of the award will be confirmed
- The regional winners (national finalist) should be available to attend the National Retirement Living Summit or register for the National Retirement Living Awards Gala Dinner to be held in Gold Coast on Thursday 27 June 2024
Future Retirement Living Leader:
- Nominees should be 35 years of age or under as at 30 June 2024
- The finalists should be available to register and attend the National Retirement Living Summit and/or the National Retirement Living Awards Gala Dinner to be held on the Gold Coast on Thursday 27 June 2024
Projects:
- Projects must have been completed in the previous five years and have been operating for at least one year as of 30 June 2023
