Why do I need to submit an Expression of Interest?

It is not mandatory, however, submitting an Expression of Interest will help us to help you determine if your entry is an eligible entry or not.  

What is the difference between Expression of Interest and Nomination?

Expression of Interest involves filling out a quick online form (not the official nomination/submission form). The purpose of this stage is to determine if your entry is an eligible entry. Expression of interest is open from 1 to 26 August. The Awards Manager will confirm based on your Expression of Interest, if your entry will be eligible or not. 

A nomination is your official nomination/entry into your chosen category. Nominations must be submitted using the official online nomination form, from 29 August to 21 October 2022. Your entry will be judged based on the information you provide in your official nomination. 

Do I need to submit an Expression of Interest in order to nominate?

No, you do not need to submit an Expression of Interest to nominate. You can still submit a nomination that has not been submitted as an Expression of Interest.

Can I still nominate if I don’t submit an Expression of Interest?

You are not required to complete the Expression of interest in order to nominate. You can still nominate entries that have not been submitted during the EOI stage. 

What is the cost to nominate?

The cost to nominate are as follows: 

$200, including GST, for the Award for Village Manager of the Year, Award for Salesperson of the Year, Award for Future Retirement Living Leader. 

$900, including GST, for a project which includes the Award for Marketing Excellence, Award for Best Refurbishment, Award for Best Retirement Living Development. 

When/how do I pay the nomination fee?

Payment is required when you submit your official nomination through the online portal. Payment is required by credit card and is processed through our secure online payment gateway. 

Can I nominate if I am not a member of the Property Council of Australia?

Entry is only available to members of the Property Council of Australia. To check if your organisation is a member, please email membership@propertycouncil.com.au
