The People’s Choice Award recognises the Best Retirement Community as voted by the general public.
Voting is via our online voting poll which opens from 4 April to 3 May 2024.
The winner will be announced at the National Retirement Living Awards Gala Dinner to be held on Thursday, 27 June 2024 on the Gold Coast.
Entries that qualify for the People’s Choice Award are all retirement villages named as a finalist across the following categories:
- Award for Revitatlisation
- Refurbishment above $1M
- Refurbishment under $1M
- Award for Best Redevelopment
- Large operator > 500 ILU & Not for profit
- Small operator < 500 ILU & Not for profit
- One Fell Swoop Award for Award for Best Retirement Living Development
- Large operator > 500 ILU & Not for profit
- Small operator < 500 ILU & Not for profit
- Luxury development
- Land lease development
- Award for Sustainability in Retirement Living
- Award for Village Manager of the Year – the village that the Manager belongs.
The People’s Choice Award excludes the Award for Future Retirement Living Leader, Award for Salesperson of the Year and Award for Marketing Excellence categories.
If you are a finalist in the National Retirement Living Awards, it is a great way to raise your profile to customers and suppliers and to get colleagues, friends and family involved, showing their support for your village or community.
There is no cost to enter the People’s Choice Award.
